Mercury -the planet of refinement and mastery of both spiritual and material world In Vedic mythology, Budha is the son of Chandra (Moon) and Tara, the wife of Brihaspati (Jupiter). As mercury was born of a forbidden or controversial union, he is said to have inherited sharp intellect but also a tendency to be restless, dual-minded, and analytical. Being born of Moon (mind) and influenced by Jupiter (wisdom), Mercury represents intellect, speech, learning, and logic. Mercury’s nature—neither purely benefic nor malefic. It adapts and takes the color of the planets it associates with. But the most interesting part is mercury is the graha which governs all the remedies and creative abilities of mantras.
